Vietnam reports 17 new imported coronavirus cases
The National Steering Committee for COVID-19 Prevention and Control of Vietnam confirmed 17 new coronavirus cases on May 7, bringing the total number of people who have caught the virus in the country to 288.
The patients are among passengers returning from the United Arab Emirates and arriving at Can Tho Airport on May 3. They are under treatment in the nearby Bac Lieu province.
Vietnam hasn’t recorded any new COVID-19 infections in the community for 21 days straight./.
