The QS rankings feature 1,300 of the world’s most prestigious universities in 93 countries and territories, based on a methodology that assesses each institution on six metrics, including academic reputation, employer reputation, faculty/student ratio, citations per faculty, international faculty ratio and international student ratio.

The ranking criteria emphasise the contribution and impact of a university’s quality of training and research to society (through the assessment of businesses, as well as domestic and foreign scholars), and its contribution to scientific research (via the number of citations/lecturers).
