– Sen. Lieut. Gen. Phan Van Giang, Chief of the General Staff of the Vietnam People’s Army, received Colonel General V.B. Zarudnitsky, Chief of the Military Academy of the Russian Federation Armed Forces’ General Staff, in Hanoi on February 18.

At the reception, Zarudnitsky informed his host on the outcomes of his talks with Vietnam's National Defence Academy. Accordingly, the two academies discussed a number of cooperation contents, while learning about each other’s teaching facilities and syllabus.

Lauding the outcomes of the talks, Giang, who is also Deputy Minister of National Defence, recommended the two armies to further expand collaboration, thus contributing to the friendship, solidarity and traditional cooperation between the two nations and their armies.

He also took the occasion to highlight the friendship and collaboration between the Vietnamese and Russian states, people, and armies in the past as well as in their current national construction and protection cause.-VNA
