Vietnam, Russia hold talks to beef up ties

At the talks, co-chaired by Deputy Defence Minister, Senior Lieutenant-General Truong Quang khanh and Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Igor Morgulov, the two sides spoke highly of the fine multilateral cooperation between Vietnam and Russia, particularly in military technology, defence industry and staff training.
Both sides agreed to create the best conditions for the two navies to pay port visits and exchange experience, step up cooperation in the fields of defence industry and cooperate on energy security in each country.
They also discussed and agreed on a number of issues of common concern.-VNA
