Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung has signed a decision to establish a steering board for the organisation of the World Economic Forum (WEF) on East Asia meeting, which will take place in Vietnam on June.
According to Decision No.133/QD-TTg, Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai and a deputy foreign minister of the Foreign Ministry will be the Head and Deputy Head of the steering board.
The board will instruct and work closely with relevant ministries and agencies in preparation for the special event.
A team under the management of the team leader, who is also Head of the Foreign Ministry’s General Economic Issues Department, will be set up to help the steering board supervise all activities and contact with WEF during the preparation./.
