Lua, competing at the free wrestling 48 kg category for female, on May 14 defeated Eleonora from Kazakhstan 2-0 and advanced to the semifinal where she lost to Murafuko from Japan .
However, she was not discouraged by the failure and went on to overcome a Kyrgyzstan rival, Miriniso, to grab the bronze medal.
