Education for Nature-Vietnam (ENV) has coordinated with South Africa’s Endangered Wildlife Trust (EWT) to produce and release two new posters for their rhino-protection campaign.

One of the two adverts (there are both Vietnamese and English versions) calls on people to refrain from using rhino horn, said ENV on March 13. The other’s message is that rhino mothers, like all mothers, do not want to see their children orphaned.

The adverts will appear on websites, social media sites, forums and blogs in Vietnam. They will also be displayed in ENV’s activities, such as exhibitions on wildlife and public awareness campaigns.

In 2005, ENV established a free hotline to encourage people to report violations relating to wild animals.-VNA
