Vietnam subcommittees of intergovernmental committees formed
The Prime Minister has decided to establish Vietnamese subcommittees of intergovernmental committees with foreign countries.
PM Nguyen Xuan Phuc (Source: VNA)Hanoi (VNA) – The Prime Minister has decided to establish Vietnamese subcommittees of intergovernmental committees with foreign countries.
Accordingly, the subcommittees will carry out tasks assigned by the Prime Minister to promote cooperation with foreign nations.
The subcommittees have function to assist the PM in coordinating cooperation in all fields with foreign nations within the framework of the intergovernmental committees, boosting and strengthening cooperation, and implementing the signed international conventions and agreements, ensuring effective operation of intergovernmental committees.
The subcommittees propose working with relevant ministries and localities to expand cooperation in the fields of politics, diplomacy, security, economics, trade, investment, finance, science-technology, culture, sports and tourism with foreign nations.
They also make proposals to the Prime Minister to solve key issues within the framework of inter-governmental committees.-VNA
