Hanoi (VNA) – Vietnam will cooperate with Japan to make careful preparation for a successful visit of the Japanese Emperor and Empress to Vietnam, contributing to bilateral ties and to peace, cooperation and development of the region and the world, the Foreign Ministry spokesperson said.

Foreign Ministry Spokesman Le Hai Binh made the statement on September 14 in reply to reporters’ question regarding Japan’s announcement early the same day that the Japanese Emperor and Empress are likely to pay a visit to Vietnam in the spring of 2017.

“Vietnam welcomes Japan’s consideration of arrangement for the State-level visit of the Emperor and Empress to Vietnam next spring,” he said.-VNA

Cao Bang urged to create best conditions for voters during election

As of January 30, all communes and wards in Cao Bang had established 566 constituencies and 566 election teams with 8,976 members to serve the election. On February 16, the provincial Election Committee issued a resolution announcing the official list of 13 candidates for the 16th NA in three constituencies, and 84 candidates for the provincial People’s Council for the 2026–2031 term in 16 constituencies.
