The PM also assigned the Ministry of Education and Training to work with the Vietnam Chemistry Association and relevant agencies and localities to devise an implementation scheme.
Held annually since 1968, the ICO is one of five contests - Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology and Information Technology – for international secondary students to show off their intellectual talents and consolidate international relationships.
Vietnam has taken part in the ICO since 1997. In 2009, four Vietnamese students took one gold, two silvers and one bronze prize at the 41st ICO in the UK./.
