Vietnam tops SEA chess open championships
The Vietnamese chess team had a tournament to remember at the Southeast
Asian (SEA) Open Age Group Chess Championships after winning the
competition with an impressive haul of 71 gold, 31 silver, and 39 bronze
medals in both individual and team categories.

The Philippines was runner-up, and Singapore followed in third place.
The tournament was held in Thailand from June 5-14, drawing the participation of competitors from 15 nations and territories, competing in standard, rapid and blitz divisions.-VNA
