The deal was reached during Deputy Finance Minister Do Hoang Anh Tuan’s visit to Ukraine on March 22 and 23.

At the talks between a high-ranking delegation from the Vietnamese Ministry of Finance and the General Department of Vietnam Customs and the delegation of the State Customs Service of Ukraine, both sides noted that the signing of the agreement is an important advance, reflecting the cooperation spirit and commitment of the two governments and customs agencies.

The two sides also signed a memorandum of understanding on the exchange of customs statistics on two-way trade, which is part of the newly-signed agreement.

While in Ukraine , the delegation held working sessions with the Vietnamese embassy and the Kiev-based Vietnam Business Association to seek solutions to remove hurdles in Vietnam-Ukraine trade./.
