Vietnam attaches importance to developing friendship and cooperation with Brazil , affirmed National Assembly Chairman Nguyen Phu Trong.

The NA leader made the affirmation while receiving in Hanoi on Nov. 19 Damiao Feliciano, the visiting Chairman of the Committee for External Relations and National Defence of the House of Representatives of Brazil.

Chairman Trong spoke highly of Brazil ’s potential for development and its role in the region and the world.

He hailed Brazil for crossing out Vietnam from the list for investigation into footwear dumping and also for allowing 60 Vietnamese companies to export seafood to the country.

Trong said, despite the recent fine development in ties between the two countries, the two sides need to further boost exchanges and multifaceted cooperation, particularly between the two parliaments, for the benefit of each side.
