The third set saw Vietnam dominating the game with Nhan's excellent performance making the difference, with the hosts eventually going on to easily win the set 25-14 to secure their first victory at the championship.
The win helped Vietnam temporarily top the group and opened the door for the team to qualify for the quarter-finals.
