Vietnam welcomed over 6.1 million overseas arrivals in the past 10 months of 2013, up 10.4 percent against the same period last year.
According to the General Statistics Office, the highest increase is from Russia with 66.1 percent, followed by China 36.2 percent, Thailand 21 percent, and Malaysia 12.7 percent.
However, a decline is observed in the number of tourists from the US, Taiwan, and France during the same period.
In October alone, the country received around 630,000 foreign visitors, representing a yearly increase of 15.1 percent.-VNA
