Fouresome Tran Duy Anh, Bui Anh Tu, Pham Cong Thanh and Doan Van Mai won bronze in the men's team fairway event.
Anh later took bronze in the individual category.
The women's team took two bronzes in the team fairway and stroke events. Nguyen H Trang stood third in the women's individual fairway and paired with Tran H Quyen to take a second bronze in the double fairway pool.
Vietnam went to the tournament with the smallest number of nine athletes. They competed against more than 200 rivals from 14 countries including China, Japan, Singapore and the host Malaysia.-VNA
