All six members of the Vietnamese team won bronzes at the 52 nd International Mathematics Olympiad (IMO) held in the Netherlands, said the Department of Examinations and Education Quality Assessment on July 23.

The Department of Examinations and Education Quality Assessment said on July 23 that with this performance, Vietnam ranked 31 st out of the 90 participating delegations. China came in first, followed by the US and Singapore.

So far, four out of five Vietnamese Olympiad teams have bagged 18 medals and one certificate of merit, including one gold in physics, four silvers in physics and chemistry, and 13 bronzes.

The Informatics Olympiad team will take part in the final competition on July 29.

The 53 rd IMO is scheduled to take place in Argentina in 2012./.
