The gold medals were awarded to Dinh Ngoc Hai (Bien Hoa high school in Ha Nam province) and Ngo Phi Long (Son La high school in Son La province), with the first time a student from a mountainous province achieving gold.
The silver won by Le Quang Huy (Lam Son high school in Thanh Hoa province) and two bronze medals for Dinh Viet Thang and Bui Xuan Hien (Le Hong Phong high school in Nam Dinh province).
The Vietnamese team made spectacular progress compared with the achievements made at the same event in 2011.-VNA
