All four Vietnamese students in the competition won medals, including one gold, two silvers and one bronze at the 41st International Chemistry Olympiad, which was held recently at Cambridge University in the UK.

The gold medal was bagged by Vu Minh Chau from the Hanoi Natural Sciences University, while Le Duc Anh from the Tran Phu Specialist School in Hai Phong and Luu Nguyen Hong Quang from the Ho Chi Minh City Natural Sciences University brought home the two silver medals. The bronze medal was taken by Le Thu Huong from Hung Yen province’s Specialist School.

This year’s competition drew competitors from 67 countries and territories around the world with the top prizes going to Taiwan, Russia and China./.
