How to deal with difficulties facing Vietnamese businesses in Russia in the current context of the country was the main focus of a recent workshop held in Moscow.

Speaking at the event, President of the Vietnamese Business Association in Russia Tran Dang Chung noted economic challenges facing Russia since Crimea merged with it in March this year, saying that the ruble devaluation are making the Vietnamese community’s production, business and import activities difficult.

Participating enterprises talked about problems they have encountered and offered practical solutions to them.

They suggested taking full advantage of business and investment opportunities, particularly pouring capital into agriculture or exporting Russia ’s staples to Vietnam.

Ambassador to Russia Nguyen Thanh Son affirmed that his embassy will do its utmost to help Vietnamese businesses during the difficult time so as to increase the prestige and role of the Vietnamese community here, thus contributing to the Russian economic development.-VNA
