Vietnamese culture shines at Italian ethnic culture festival

The Vietnamese culture and cuisine were introduced at the 16th Bagnara ethnic culture festival in Bagnara di Romagna commune of Italy's Ravenne province from June 27 - 30.

This is the sixth time Vietnam has joined in the festival.

The Vietnam booth stood out with traditional decorations, and its Vietnamese dishes were a crowd favorite. Italian and international visitors eagerly lined up to enjoy freshly prepared Vietnamese food, cooked on-site.

Additionally, an exhibition showcasing Vietnam's landscape, people, cuisine, traditional attire, and musical instruments was presented for the first time by the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnam-Italy Cultural Bridge Association. The exhibition, held in the town museum, offered festival-goers a vivid and immersive look into Vietnam’s rich culture.

After six years of participating in the festival, Vietnam and its people have become increasingly familiar to Italians and other international visitors.

The festival serves as a bridge connecting generations, ethnicities, and cultures. This year’s event drew over 20,000 attendees./.
