The act “Mother’s life” depicts the life of a heroine Nguyen Thi Ut – a woman with indomitable spirit during a time of war. Though she was captured and tortured, she stays loyal to the Party and State, ready to sacrifice herself for the national reunification.
“Mother’s life” won the highest prize at national folk opera contest in 2018. The Long An folk opera delegation will continue touring in other northern provinces like Phu Tho, Bac Ninh, Bac Giang and Nghe An./.
