(Photo: VNA) Berlin (VNA) – About 30 Vietnamesebusinesses are introducing agricultural products at Anuga, the world’s largesttrade fair for food and beverages, in Germany’s Cologne city from October 5-9.
Apart from traditional organic products like pepper, cashew nuts, rice, fruitand vegetables, they brought to the fair new ones like fermented hot chilisauce and cucumber-infused wine.
With 7,500 exhibitors and about 165,000 visitorseach day, Anuga offers anopportunity for Vietnamese businesses to promote their products to fooddistributors and catering service suppliers across the world.
The Vietnamese booths attract thousands of visitors each day. Many companieshave signed contracts worth millions of US dollars with foreign partners duringthe fair.
Vietnam’s participation in the fair is part of trade promotion activitiesorganised by the Vietnam Trade Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Industryand Trade./.
