The Embassy of Vietnam in Argentina on July 8 coordinated with the Equilibrium Global media company to organise an event promoting images of Vietnamese landscape and people in Commune 13, Argentina’s capital city of Buenos Aires.

Buenos Aires (VNA) – The Embassy of Vietnam in Argentina on July 8 coordinated with the Equilibrium Global media company to organise an event promoting images of Vietnamese landscape and people in Commune 13, Argentina’s capital city of Buenos Aires. 
Participants at the event were briefed on Vietnam’shistory as well as the country’s achievement during Doi Moi (reform) progress.

Besides, Vietnam’s tourism potential withnumerous famous attractions such as Ha Long Bay, Sa Pa and Hue was introducedat the event.

Vietnam has become a favourite destination forArgentinean tourists, a Vietnamese Embassy’s representative said, adding theSoutheast Asian country welcomed about 10,000 Argentinean visitors in recentyears. 

On this occasion, a photo exhibition on Vietnam washeld, attracting attention of local visitors.

Vietnam and Argentina have boosted bilateral trade ties with trade turnover exceeding 3 billion USD in 2016, up 20percent against 2015 and three times higher than that of 2012.

Argentina is currently one of leading tradepartners of Vietnam in Latin America.-VNA
