A group of Vietnamese and Japanese entrepreneurs met in Ho Chi Minh City on August 22 to seek investment and cooperation opportunities.

Present at the event were leaders of the Sakai city chapter of the Japan-Vietnam Friendship Association, the Sakai municipal Business Association and over 40 businesses from Ho Chi Minh City and Sakai city, Osaka prefecture.

Participants were introduced to Vietnam’s investment incentives designed exclusively for foreign investors, particularly in infrastructure, support industry and hi-technology in which the Japanese firms are strong.

The event, co-hosted by the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organisations, the Ho Chi Minh City chapter of the Vietnam-Japan Friendship Association and the CT Group, was to celebrate the 40th anniversary of Vietnam-Japan diplomatic ties.-VNA
