Accordingly, the two ministries continue exchanging delegations at all levels, sharing information and intensifying management and protection of the two countries’ shared border line.
They will also coordinate in search for and repatriation of the remains of Vietnamese volunteer soldiers and experts who died in Laos during wartime.
Meanwhile, the Vietnamese side committed to helping Laos train its officers and build several infrastructure and welfare facilities.
At the signing ceremony, Minister Sengnoune Sayalath expressed his thanks for Vietnam’s support for the Laos People’s Army to fulfil its tasks during its country’s struggle for liberation in the past and the national building and safeguard process at present.-VNA
