At a meeting with President of the Lao Front for National Construction Phan Douangchit Vongsa in Hanoi on Oct. 25, General Secretary Trong stressed the important role of the two fronts in encouraging, educating people from all walks of life, particularly the youths, on the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity.
Trong highly valued the current visit to Vietnam by Phan Douangchit Vongsa as well as results of cooperation between the two countries’ fronts in building the great national unity bloc, contributing to bringing the Vietnam-Laos special solidarity to a new height.
Phan Douangchit Vongsa informed the Party leader of recent development in Laos and cooperation activities of the two fronts as well as outcomes of talks between the two fronts.
He affirmed that the Party, State, Front and people of Laos will spare no effort to maintain and foster the Laos-Vietnam traditional friendship, special solidarity and comprehensive cooperation./.
