A National Assembly delegation ended its week-long visit to Japan on March 19, which aimed to gain experience in formulating and implementing laws and policies on social affairs.

While in Japan, the delegation, led by Luong Phan Cu, Vice Chairman of the NA Committee for Social Affairs, learnt about Japanese experience in making and implementing of labour laws, especially for women and people with disabilities.


They also had a working session with the ruling Democratic Party of Japan’s Committee for Gender Equality on how to implement laws on gender equality and the prevention of domestic violence.


The delegation made a fact-finding tour of businesses which employ a large number of Vietnamese workers and visited the Vietnamese Embassy and the Vietnamese labour management board in Japan./.
