A Vietnamese man was killed and two others were seriously injured when a tourist bus crashed in Australia's south-west state of Victoria on August 15.
The bus was carrying 26 Vietnamese holidaymakers when it rolled onto its side near the city of Colac.
The two injured passengers, an 18-year-old woman with suspected head and neck injuries and a middle-aged man with head and shoulder injuries, were flown to the Alfred Hospital . They are reportedly in a stable condition.
Five other tourists suffering minor injuries were taken to the nearby Colac Hospital for treatment.
The Australian Broadcasting Corporation (ABC) quoted Acting Superintendent Don Downes as saying all of the passengers were from Vietnam and the driver, around 40 years old, from Melbourne , the capital city of Victoria .
Local press reported the bus crashed after it carried the tourists to the coastal Great Ocean Road and the Twelve Apostles scenic tourist attraction.
Police believed that the bus crossed onto the wrong side of the road before spinning and rolling due to the slippery road. The driver, who survived the accident without serious injury, is now cooperating with police in the investigation.
The Embassy of Vietnam in Australia has already sent officials to assist authorities of Australia and Vietnam to deal with the case./.
