A play staged by the Vietnam Drama Theatre has proved a hit with audiences at a recent festival held in Nanning, China.
“Cai lao hoan dong” (Rejuvenation), directed by Tuan Hai, has been voted as the most popular play at the China-ASEAN theatre festival, with its stars Tuan Hai and Le Ngoc also winning plaudits for their performances.
The event, which took place from August 28-September 3, drew the participation of 15 troupes from China and ASEAN countries.-VNA
