Vietnamese products on display at SIAL InterFood

The Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia is showcasing Vietnamese cashew nuts, pepper, rice, coffee and tea at the International Exhibition on Food & Beverage Products, Technology, Ingredients, Additives, Raw Materials, Services, Equipment, Supplies (SIAL InterFood) that opened in Jakarta on November 21.

Jakarta (VNA) –The Trade Office of the Vietnamese Embassy in Indonesia is showcasingVietnamese cashew nuts, pepper, rice, coffee and tea at the InternationalExhibition on Food & Beverage  Products, Technology, Ingredients,Additives, Raw Materials, Services, Equipment, Supplies (SIAL InterFood) thatopened in Jakarta on November 21. 

Several Vietnamese exporters of farm produce,food technology and household appliances such as Gold Nuts Food, Long Quan SafeFood and Sunhouse Group also popularize their products at the event. 

Nguyen Thi Thu from Sunhouse Group said thereare many opportunities for Vietnamese brands, especially those of food, toenter Indonesia thanks to its huge food demand. Indonesia is now also one of themajor rice importers of Vietnam. 

Seminars, business-to-business meetings,thematic programmes on tea, coffee, liquor, confectionery and health care foodwill also be held. 

As the leading international fair on food,beverages and technology in Southeast Asia, the annual SIAL InterFood attractsover 1,000 stalls from nearly 30 countries and territories such as the US,China, Taiwan (China), Belgium and Vietnam.
