Vietnamese scientists honoured with Ta Quang Buu Award 2020

A report on the Government AI Readiness Index from Oxford Insights revealed that Vietnam has increased its average score, reaching 54.48 points in 2023 compared to 53.96 in 2022. The country also surpassed the Philippines to rise to 5th position out of the 10 ASEAN countries, climbing one spot since the year prior.

In the past two years, Vietnam has implemented a human-centered digital citizen ecosystem. The project has obtained a variety of achievements.

British magazine Times Higher Education (THE) has announced its World University Rankings 2024 (THE WUR 2024), in which six Vietnamese universities are listed. Duy Tan University and Ton Duc Thang University are both in the 601 - 800 group in the global rankings and again lead Vietnamese universities, but have both fallen in their position compared to 2023.

Professor Tran Dang Xuan at Japan’s Hiroshima University has been listed among the world’s top scientists by Research.com, a reputable scientist ranking website.

Da Nang topped the country’s Digital Transformation Index (DTI) rankings in 2022, according to the DTI 2022 Report released by the Ministry of Information and Communications on July 13. This is the third consecutive year the central city has led the way in digital transformation.
