Phuong eliminated Ireland 's Christine Gargan and Vy dismissed Russia 's Maria Sokolova in the quarter-finals to keep their medal hopes alive.
The tournament has provided a good opportunity for all of them to gain useful experience for the upcoming London 2012 Olympics. /.
