Hanoi (VNA) – Ten Vietnamese students will compete in the 2017 international programming contest scheduled for August 17 in the Republic of Korea (RoK).

They are contestants with highest scores after the first two rounds of the event held by Samsung Electronics in Vietnam.

The finals in the RoK will see the competition of 150 participants from India, Vietnam and the host country. They will take a four-hour test.

It is a professional international playground for students to gain more skills and insight into programming, algorithmic problem-solving, developing ideas, logical thinking and to apply programming knowledge to real life.

This year, the total value of the contest prize is around 110,000 USD.-VNA
