A delegation of the Supreme People’s Court of Vietnam headed by Chief
Judge Truong Hoa Binh paid a visit to Japan from Feb. 27-Mar.4.
The visit was made at the invitation of the Supreme Court of Japan.
During the visit, Binh had a working session with Chief Justice of the Supreme Court of Japan Takesaki Hironobu.
The two sides exchanged experiences regarding the organisation and activities of the sector in each country and their cooperation plan in the coming time.
The Vietnamese delegation was also received by Justice Minister Satsuki Eda.
The delegation visited the Tokyo High Court, the Tokyo High Intellectual Court , the Tokyo Court , the Tokyo Summary Court , the Tokyo Family Court and the Justice Ministry and some training institutes of the sector.
The visit has helped strengthen cooperation ties between the court sectors of the two countries, laying a premise to promote judicial cooperation to a new height and contributing to implementing the strategic partnership between Vietnam and Japan./.
