Vietnamese team balloons across Malaysia

Vietnam has a team of balloonists taking part in the Putrajaya International Hot Air Balloon Festival, which began in Malaysia on March 15.
Vietnam has a team of balloonists taking part in the PutrajayaInternational Hot Air Balloon Festival, which began in Malaysiaon March 15.

The 26 balloons on show are fromcountries across the world including the UK, the US, Belgium,Switzerland, New Zealand, France, Germany, the Netherlands, India,Thailand, Vietnam and host country Malaysia.

TheVietnamese team, representing the Ho Chi Minh City based Chien ThangCompany, have four balloons appearing, which will raise Vietnam ’simage across the globe.

Apart from ballooning, theVietnamese team has also set up a pavilion highlighting popular touristdestinations in Vietnam such as Ha Long Bay, the Dong Van StonePlateau, Phong Nha-Ke Bang Cave and the waterfall at Ban Gioc.

The Festival will run until March 18 and is expected to attract around 300,000 domestic and overseas enthusiasts.-VNA
