Vietnamese Ambassador to the US Nguyen Quoc Cuong and other embassy officials have met with US leading scholars to share information and studies related to strategic forecast of major development trends in Asia-Pacific and the world from now to 2030.
The US scholars were from the Atlantic Council, the Centre for Navy Analyses (CNA), the US National Intelligence Council (NIC) and the Institute for National Strategy Studies (INSS).
The meetings, which took place in Washington DC on March 19, were part of exchanges and dialogues between the Vietnamese Embassy and the US leading centres and institutes.
During the events, US scholars were also introduced to Vietnam ’s socio-economic development strategy and its foreign policy of independence, self-reliance, multilateralisation and diversification of relations.-VNA
