On February 5, the Vietnamese fishing boat carrying four rescued Filipino fishermen docked at a harbour in Tuy Hoa city, Phu Yen province.

On January 23, the Vietnamese vessel captained by Luong Cong Xuyen was fishing in the waters about 100 nautical miles from Song Tu Dong island of Truong Sa Archipelago when it spotted and rescued the exhausted Filipino fishermen who had been adrift for four days.

From Tuy Hoa they were taken to the provincial hospital for a health check, and have been provided with healthcare, food and accommodation.

They are now in a stable condition, and procedures are underway to return them home.-VNA
