Vietnamese wins prize at Worldwide Photography Gala

Three American photographers swept the top three.
Van also received a Merit Award for his photo Mua Xuan Dang Toi (Here Comes the Spring).
Van’s photos will be featured in a book with other prize winning photos such as Summer in Haiti (Best Documentary Series) by James Fischetti and Little Girls and a Cherry Tree (First Prize) by Jeanine Vitale. The photos will be exhibited in the US and Europe and showcased for sale at the Wonderpick Gallery in the UK .
Van took Harvest Season during a visit to Mu Cang Chai district, in the northern province of Yen Bai last September.
Last year, he won 14 photography prizes at home and abroad./.
