Seoul (VNA) – A fire has broken out at the second floor of a house in Gwangju city, the Republic of Korea, killing one Vietnamese man, the Yonhap news agency reported on September 5.
The incident occurred at 6:51pm on September 4, while the victim was sleeping and his wife were going out for work.
According to the Vietnamese community in the region, the victim is Le Ba Luan, 32, from Bau Nang commune, Duong Minh Chau district, the southern province of Tay Ninh.
Witnesses said that they heard an explosion before seeing the fire and smoke from the living room and bedroom on the second floor of the house.
Investigations into the incident are underway.-VNA
