Vietnam ranked third overall at the championship following runner-up Hong Kong (China) and champion China, announced the General Administration of Sports on August 10.
As many as six out of the eight gold medals came to Hanoi artists.
At the Asian Games 2014, Wushu was the only event that brought gold medals to the Vietnamese team.
The championship took place from August 6-9 with 396 competitors from 24 countries and territories.-VNA
