Hanoi (VNA) – Two seminars on Vietnam’s achievements in socio-economic development, external relations and international integration in 2017 will be held in early January.
The Prime Minister has assigned the Vietnam Television (VTV) to host a seminar on Vietnam’s 2017 socio-economic development attainments and the Government’s socio-economic management orientations for 2018 in the first week of next month.
The event is expected to draw representatives from the World Bank, the International Monetary Fund, the Asian Development Bank and the World Economic Forum.
Minister of Planning and Investment Nguyen Chi Dung and Governor of the State Bank of Vietnam Le Minh Hung will also be present at the seminar.
The VTV was also entrusted to work with relevant agencies to organise another seminar on Vietnam’s achievements in foreign relations and international integration in 2017, which will be broadcast in the first week of January.-VNA
