Voting on the Vietnam’s Leading IT Companies list started in August, and now the 40 top companies have been announced.

The top 40 were picked out of 100 nominations.

According to Truong Gia Binh, head of the Vietnam Software and IT Services Association (VINASA), the winners deserve the title because they created more than 23,000 jobs for highly competent staff members, who account for a sixth of the sector’s manpower.

They also generated revenue of more than 14.3 trillion VND (638.2 million USD), he said.

The competition management board published a special edition with the enterprises’ profiles in English and Japanese, along with an online version at www.leadingitcompanies.com to facilitate the recommendation of these businesses to domestic organisations and international partners.

An award ceremony will take place in Ho Chi Minh City as part of the Vietnam IT Outsourcing Conference.

The voting programme started in 2014 in a bid to enhance the competitiveness of Vietnam’s IT enterprises in the domestic and global market.-VNA
