An exhibition on Vietnam’s socio-economic achievements will open at a live broadcast ceremony on the evening of August 28, Deputy Minister of Culture, Sports and Tourism Huynh Vinh Ai told a press conference in the capital city on August 19.

The event is to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the August Revolution (August 19) and National Day (September 2), before and after which will feature music performances by artists from the Vietnam Symphony Orchestra and the Vietnam National Academy of Music, Ai said.

The exhibit will sprawl over 15,000 square metres indoors and outdoors, attracting exhibitors from 28 ministries and ministry-level agencies and 30 cities, provinces and businesses nationwide.

As many as 80 stalls will be divided into four sections, each displaying photos, artefacts and films on the topic.

The Vietnam News Agency, “Nhan dan” (People) newspaper, and Vietnam Television will also have their own stalls.

Sideline events include seminars and conferences that enable exhibitors to introduce new policies, investment opportunities and technologies and promote trade.
