Vietnam’s Cultural Year in Czech programme announced

The Vietnam Cultural Year in the Czech Republic 2015 will feature a range of cultural events such as exhibitions on Vietnam’s people and lands and Vietnam-Czech tourist conference, according to Vietnamese Ambassador to the Czech Republic Truong Manh Son.

Theambassador said at a press briefing in Prague on December 30 that theopening week of the Year will see the participation of Vietnam’sMinister of Culture, Sport and Tourism and artists from Vietnam.

On this occasion, the ambassador made public the logo for theVietnam Cultural Year in the Czech Republic 2015, which was selected in acontest among the Vietnamese community in the Czech Republic.

A number of activities to mark the 65th anniversary of diplomatic ties were also revealed at the meeting.-VNA
