A fair featuring made-in-Vietnam high quality goods and exports opened in Phnom Penh , Cambodia on April 3.

Addressing the opening ceremony, Cambodia’s Minister of Trade Cham Prasidh spoke highly of Vietnam ’s organisation of the fair, the tenth of its kind, in Phnom Penh, describing it an evidence for the development of bilateral trade cooperation between the two countries.

This year’s fair attracted 200 enterprises, including 135 high-quality goods producers and 65 exporters.

The fair, held the first time in 2002, has contributed to boosting two-way trade between Vietnam and Cambodia.

According to the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry, in the first two months of the year, Vietnam-Cambodia trade value reached 264.9 million USD, a 54.8 percent year-on-year increase. Of which, Cambodia’s exports to Vietnam rose by 124 percent./.
