The meeting was attended by New South Wales (NSW) Governor Marie Bashir, the Speaker of the NSW Legislative Assembly Richard Torbay, numerous MPs and NSW officials as well as overseas Vietnamese and students studying in Sydney.

Consul General Vu Hong Nam highlighted the significance of the August Revolution to the Vietnamese nation and Vietnam’s achievements over the past 64 years.
