- Vietnam's U23 football team will play a friendly match against Myanmar on June 7 as part of coach Park Hang-seo's efforts to prepare the squad for the 30th Southeast Asian Games (SEA Games) later this year.

The Vietnamese players will gather in Hanoi from June 2 for training.

Vietnam’s U23 team previously had a 0-0 draw with Myanmar in the group match and lost 1-4 in the third prize match at SEA Games 2011.

At SEA Games 2015, Vietnam failed to advance to the final when they lost to Myanmar 1-2 in the semi-final.

But in their latest meeting in December 2017, Vietnam won Myanmar 4-0 at Thailand's M-150 Cup.-VNA
