The Chairwoman of the Vietnam Women’s Union (VWU), Nguyen Thi Thanh Hoa, has recently led a delegation to Russia from March 29-April 5.
At a meeting on March 31, delegations from the VWU and the Russian Women’s Association (RWA) exchanged their experiences when dealing with issues relating to women and family.
They both also discussed measures to strengthen cooperation between the two organisations in the future.
The RWA expressed hope that Vietnam will have more chance to share its experiences within the framework of the Women’s International Democratic Federation, of which Vietnam is a member.
A representative from the Moscow Businesswoman’s Club under the RWA said the club hoped to continue to take part in joint projects to help disadvantaged children from both countries./.
