The company, based in the Mekong Delta’s Dong Thap province, has signed contracts with farmers to provide them hatchlings and feed, as well as purchase their output. Thanks to this, Vinh Hoan’s tra fish breeding zone has increased from 136.5 ha to 186.5 ha, capable of meeting 40 percent of the demand for unprocessed product.
Vinh Hoanh Corp. has also put its food processing plant into operation, capable of churning out 70,000 tonnes of end-product per year./.
